Important Issue: Date on Invoice#1570

?

I wanted to bring something to your attention regarding the dates on our invoices. Currently, the date that appears on the invoice is the same as the date when the customer books their appointment. However, this can cause some confusion, especially for services that are used at a later date.

For example, let’s say someone books a massage on November 1, 2024, but the actual appointment is on December 1, 2024. If they pay for the service on-site at the massage shop, the invoice date should ideally reflect the payment date, which is December 1, 2024. This is particularly important for customers in Canada and the USA who may want to claim the service on their health insurance.

To address this issue, I have a couple of suggestions:

  1. We could create a feature on the dashboard that allows businesses to send out a receipt (separate from the invoice) after the customer has completed their service.

  2. For on-site payments, we could ensure that the invoice date matches the date when the customer actually uses the service at the local business.

The main goal is to make sure that the invoice date accurately reflects the payment date.

I’d really appreciate it if you could look into this matter and see if we can implement a solution as soon as possible. It would definitely improve the overall experience for our customers!
