Custom roles would be significantly more effective and professional if they included the ability to create tailored roles specifically for location/service managers.

These roles should enable location/service managers to:

View and manage all appointments,
View and manage all customers,
View and manage all employees,
View and manage all locations,
View and manage all services,

but EXCLUSIVELY for the appointments, customers, employees, and locations associated with the services or locations they manage.

For context, in businesses with multiple locations, it’s essential for managers to handle appointments, customers, employees, and locations related specifically to the location or service they manage.

However, it is equally critical to ensure that managers and employees from one location do not have access to sensitive information (such as private customer or employee data) from other locations or unrelated services.

A straightforward solution would be to allow specific locations, services, and employees to be assigned to a manager’s custom role. This would enable them to manage all the information relevant to their responsibilities, including their employees’ clients and appointments, while ensuring access is restricted to unrelated data.

Similarly, employees who are not managers should not have access to sensitive business-wide data.

I strongly encourage you to consider implementing this update, as I’m confident that many Trafft clients would greatly benefit from this functionality.
