Who is the Service Intended For?
The service is intended for users who want to book services either for themselves or on behalf of others (e.g., parents booking for children, spouses booking for each other).
Proposed Workflow:
Add an option during the booking process to select:
Myself: The booking will use the account holder’s information.
Participant(s): The booking will require the participant’s first and last name (or multiple participants for group bookings if applicable).
Account and Payment Handling:
The booking remains tied to the account holder, including all payment details, history, and notifications.
Participant information (name, and optionally age/other relevant details) will appear in the booking summary and confirmation for tracking purposes.
Use Case Example:
A father books a haircut for his son. The booking is created under the father’s account (with his email and payment method), but the service and schedule clearly reference the son’s name.
This makes it easy for businesses to identify the actual recipient of the service while maintaining a clear link to the payer’s account for billing and communication
