Description:
I would like to request a Parent-Child Account System (or Linked Profiles) in Trafft, allowing a primary account holder (parent/guardian) to save multiple dependent profiles (children/players) for quick booking. This feature would significantly streamline the booking process for families and organizations managing multiple participants.
Use Case:
Currently, parents who book training sessions for their children must manually enter their child’s details (name, age, skill level, etc.) each time they book a session. This becomes inefficient for repeat customers and can discourage frequent bookings.
With a Saved Profiles/Linked Accounts feature, parents could:
- Create and manage multiple child profiles under their account.
- Select a previously saved profile when booking instead of re-entering details.
- Easily update child details (age, skill level, preferences, etc.).
- Book multiple children at once with a streamlined selection process.
Suggested Implementation:
Parent (Primary) Account System
- Allow a main user (parent/guardian) to create and manage profiles for multiple dependents.
- Profiles should include custom fields (e.g., name, age, skill level, jersey size).
Saved Profile Selection in Booking Form
- Instead of re-entering participant details, a dropdown should appear with previously saved child profiles.
- The parent selects which child is attending, and their details auto-fill the booking form.
Multi-Participant Booking Option
- Parents can book for one or multiple children at the same time.
- The system should support session capacity limits (e.g., 10 players max per session).
Recurring Session Support
- a child is enrolled in multiple sessions, their profile should remain linked to future bookings.
Business Impact & Benefits:
- Faster checkout process for families with multiple children.
- Better customer experience, reducing friction for frequent users.
- Encourages repeat bookings, increasing revenue for businesses.
- More user-friendly system for sports academies, training programs, and multi-child households.
