Timezones are only available for on-site locations and one timezone per online “location” (e.g. Zoom or Google Meet). However, all of our employees are virtual and they are spread across the globe. This makes it difficult to set working hours for each employee – since they must be specified relative to our main office’s timezone.
In addition, all appointment dates/times are presented using our main office’s time zone. Luckily Google Calendar automatically adjusts the appointment on their calendar to the appropriate time zone. However, all email correspondence is listed in the wrong timezone for them.
To solve this problem, each virtual/remote employee needs to be able to specify their own timezone.
Matthew nailed it! In todays world no one is on the same time zone! Being able to set a different time zone for each employee is essential.
Definitely needed. Not sure how it can be stressed more.
This is a problem when assigning the times for a service for an employee: times don’t add up if you aren’t on the same time zone as the organization.
We can’t use this software for our business without the ability to have Timezone settings at the calendar/employee level. Having a global setting for Timezone severely limits the types of businesses Trafft can attract as clients (those that operate in a single timezone).
Please add time zones for employees.
Hi @Nikola Mijajlović, any updates on this? The emails received by employees and customers needs to include the time based on their own timezone. Please help prioritize this as this is causing an inconvenience to many by forcing them to calculate times.
Thanks.
Same issue. Employees abroad get confused by the timings in emails
woohoo about time!
It’s marked as complete but no explanation on this thread. The mail notifications do not have a placeholder for employee timezone. Employees are still shown times in the organization’s Time Zone. They just got a placeholder to update their timezone. How does that help sorry?
